At The Stoic English, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you would like to request the deletion of your account and the personal information we hold about you, this page explains how to do so and what to expect.
How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your data, send an email to:

What We Will Delete
Upon receiving your request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:
- Profile information — your name, email address, and any account preferences.
- Purchase history — records of digital and physical products you have purchased through our platform.
- Membership data — your subscription status and membership history.
- Access records — records of which content you have been granted access to.
Timeframe
We will action your request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
Data We May Retain
In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some data beyond your deletion request. This includes:
- Financial records — transaction records and receipts may be retained for the period required by law for accounting and tax purposes.
- Legal obligations — any data we are legally required to keep under applicable law.
- Fraud prevention — limited data may be retained where necessary to prevent fraud or abuse.
Any data retained for these purposes will be held securely and will not be used for any other purpose.
Third-Party Services
Please note that deletion of your account with us does not automatically remove data held by third-party services we use. If you have an account with Stripe (our payment processor), you may need to contact them separately. Similarly, if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, those platforms hold your data independently under their own privacy policies.
